Whether your chosen style of décor in your home is Victorian, Tuscan traditional, romantic, rustic, modern or contemporary, there’s one common challenge that faces almost everyone these days. How do you integrate an LCD or Plasma flat screen TV into your home interior design? One thing is for certain, those large, heavy, square television sets are a thing of the past. Flats screens are here to stay, even those who haven't yet made the leap from old fashioned box sets will agree. That means the way we used to arrange a room around a television set is also antiquated, as are the TV stands and home entertainment centres that formerly played such a prominent part in a rooms décor.
With the change from conventional television sets to flat LCD and plasma screens comes a new way of thinking in terms of how to display them. Fortunately, there are many options on the market, so you can not only put your new television anywhere you want in your home, but it can fit into any home's decor. Television stands for the 'new age' TVs come in a variety of sizes, styles and colours. While glass stands often integrate well into many types of décor, such as modern, contemporary, and even traditional, a TV stand for a plasma or LCD flat screen can come in just about any material. Some interior designers feel they have to find a custom-made TV stand to compliment their home, however, a consumer need not look very far to find a stand that fits their needs. A clever consumer will quickly locate everything from ultra modern black and clear glass stands, to minimally obtrusive TV stands and wooden stands. The more one shops around, the sooner convinced they'll be that the task of integrating their new LCD or plasma into any theme can be accomplished.
The popularity of plasma and LCD TVs stems from their amazing quality of picture and space saving design. Still, it can be a challenge to fit them into certain places, and often cause logistical problems for viewing in oddly shaped rooms. Because of their weight and large size, it's logical to believe that viewing flat screen televisions in certain rooms will cause a problem but on the contrary, by utilising wall mounts, brackets and TV stands there is no problem at all. Wall mounts for LCD and Plasma TVs are starting to offer a clean unobtrusive look with options for different viewing angles and which makes them more prevalent. So with wall mounts your home décor is minimally affected. Plasma and LCD TV wall mounts often are adjustable, come available in motorised versions that operate quietly and smoothly, and hold your expensive television just as securely as any TV stand or trolley. You can even find ceiling mounts for your flat screen TV for a really out of the way effect.
Whichever you choose, be it a glass TV stand, wooden stand, trolley, or any number of wall mounts on the market, your plasma and LCD will be enjoyed best if it compliments the look of your home. Technology can be a little frightening sometimes so don't settle until you are totally happy with your new TV/Entertainment display.

How to Choose the Best HDTV Antenna
If you have just bought a HDTV you are probably looking for the best HDTV antenna. Well guess what? There is no such thing as a HDTV antenna, it's just a buzzword made up by marketing people to sell antennas. However there are certain antennas that do better with a HDTV. There are a few things that you should know before you go looking for the best HDTV antenna to make sure that you get great picture quality. Nothing would be worse than having an expensive HDTV and then having lousy reception.
Outdoor Multi Directional Antennas
First up the best HDTV antenna is probably an outdoor antenna. There are indoor antennas that are quite popular but these are probably not the best HDTV antennas for everyone. If your house is not near enough the transmitting towers then you will have to keep changing the position of the antenna. Not something you want to do in the middle of a movie or even worse a live event. So stick to outdoor antennas to get the best HDTV antenna.
There are also multi directional and directional antennas. A directional antenna can pick up signals from further away but it must be faced in only one direction. So unless all the channels you want are being transmitted from the same direction you may need more than one directional antenna. A multi directional antenna has the advantage of being able to pick up signals from different directions and might be the better antenna for you.
Distances and Color Zones
If you live in a remote area then you will probably have to use a directional antenna. This will give you better reception and also cut down the interference of reflective buildings and mountains. Multi directional antenna are good to use if you are only a short distance or medium distance away from the transmitting towers. Any further and you will get bad reception with a multi directional antenna.
Another way to get the best HDTV antenna for your home is to determine what color zone you are in. The Consumer Electronics Association has seven color zones that categorize reception quality. The colors are yellow, green, light green, red, blue, violet and pink. Yellow areas have the best reception while pink has the worst. The Consumer Electronics Association recommends specific outdoor TV antenna for each color zone. Find out which color zone you are in and you will be able to find the best HDTV antenna for your home.

Best HDTV- The Best is Right Now
The best hdtv is made by not only one brand. It is hard to determine which TV is actually superior or at the top of the line compared to all the rest. There are for sure and for certain better models but the technology is pretty much the same. It is like movie theatres, can one actually say which theatre screen was better than the other unless that person happened to be a movie screen critic. With all things in mind determining the best hdtv would be a human error due to a lot of different things. As human beings are effected by some many other elements and things, the best hdtv would not be picked by which was actually the best. The best hdtv would be picked by how that person felt that day, the couch he or she was sitting in, and a number of other elements that effect that grand scheme of things in a astronomical matter. To select the best hdtv would also hurt the competition like no other and these people would see dramatic decreases in their sales. Alas, if the best hdtv were to be selected than it would have to have a lot of things that others simply did not have.
Why Choose the Best Hdtv
The best hdtv would certainly have to have the clearest screen out of all of them if compared at random to any top rated or “customer’s choice” selection that was put out there for debate. The screen in itself is the ‘high definition’ part of it so that must be the top priority. The next thing to consider is the type of sound the TV alone can produce without other speakers. Are speakers necessary for a TV? The TV must be a good piece of equipment as well having all the proper things that a new generation TV should have. For instance, how flat is the screen and how much space does it take up? If the best hdtv takes up way too much space then why would a person want that then the space saver one thousand that has around the same picture and sound but does not make a person look like they just bought a TV from a decade ago? The final thing to determine the best hdtv is the price, which is the most economical? In the end what gives the most bang for the buck? You deserve the best hdtv right now.
